What is my fee?
Payment varies and always depends on the type, extent and length of your work.
In the event of an inquiry, we will inform you of the level of payment and any overtime that may be necessary. In principle, you must be available all day if you accept an assignment, as we can never completely rule out the possibility of overtime. We charge around 20% (this can vary slightly) of your net fee as commission for getting you the assignment and negotiating with the client. Once the job is completed successfully, you send us an invoice so we can pay you the agreed fee and retain our commission from that sum. Both the fee and the commission will of course be discussed with you in advance.
Do you guarantee assignments?
JUST IN CAST cannot guarantee assignments. Being booked for an assignment depends on the specific characters wanted by the client and the input that you give us through your profile. As soon as we receive an inquiry for your type, we will contact you directly and discuss the details with you.
What do I gain from applying and being added to the database?
Being added to the database makes it easier than ever to get assignments. The benefit for you: Before we cast new faces for an assignment, we first check our internal database for candidates that match the client's wishes. Every new casting assignment therefore presents you with another chance of getting a booking.
JUST IN CAST make casting suggestions from the database as well as other forms of casting that are tailored to the client. After discussing availability and payment with you and your colleagues, we propose these candidates to the client.
What is the difference between an "Option" and a "Booking"?
If you receive an inquiry and wish to accept the assignment, you are set as an "option" for this job. This means that you must keep the requested day(s) free.
This is only a firm booking once the client sends us a confirmation and we make an individual contract with you for that assignment. Until the firm booking stage, the client can cancel the option at any time without stating reasons. If you are not selected, we will of course also let you know.
What happens if I miss appointments?
If you cannot perform despite having a valid contract, please inform us of this at least 5 days in advance, stating your reasons, so that we have enough time to find a replacement. We reserve the right to request a doctor's certificate in the case of illness. If you do not cancel the appointment with sufficient notice, we must unfortunately pass any resulting damages on to you. A contractual penalty is thereby payable, depending on the value of the job and the amount of the damages.

I want to delete my profile, how does this work?
You are, of course, free to ask to have your details removed from our database at any time by sending us written notice of termination. We will have processed your termination at the very latest by the second full month after receiving your notice, by which time we will have completely deleted your details.
Is there a newsletter?
By agreeing to be added to our database, you give us permission to keep you informed of news and new assignments by newsletter (email).
In what regions does Just in Cast act as an agent?
We act as an agent throughout Germany and internationally casting for advertising and events agencies, photographers, designers, TV and film productions, etc.
What is the minimum age?
The minimum age is, in principle, 18. With your parent or guardian's permission, however, you can register from age 16. Please have the relevant form signed by your parent or guardian and post it with your application, or send it by fax to: +49 (0)221 66099-11.
What happens to my data?
Your personal data as well as your contact details are for internal use only.
However, a sedcard will be created for you, which will be publicly available on the website www.justincast.de. The following data will be available there:
